MY ROLE + BACKGROUND
I was engaged by Fetch Surf Concept to rethink their digital strategy, redesign, and rebuild their website.
The business owner recognized that the existing site no longer aligned with his evolving business goals for the year, especially as he aimed to strengthen and grow his surf business in Bali.
Through a collaborative process, I:
Conducted a strategic review to identify the business’s core offerings and target market in Bali.
Developed a refreshed brand and digital strategy that would better position Fetch Surf Concept in Bali.
Designed and rebuilt the website to reflect the new focus
Provided guidance on content and digital marketing to help the owner maintain alignment between the website and ongoing business goals.
The result was a modern, goal-oriented website that not only better represented the brand but also supported the owner’s vision for business growth in Bali.
CHALLENGES
Business Challenges Prior to Engagement:
DOKU - Payment Getaway
The client, based in Indonesia, required integration with the local payment gateway Doku, as options like Stripe & PayPal were unavailable due to regional regulations.
BUSINESS VISION
The existing website lacked a clear focus - featuring broad, unfocused content that failed to attract the target audience.
CHECKOUT FUNCTION
The previous WordPress site did not offer a checkout or payment solution, making online transactions impossible.
UX COPY
There was minimal emphasis on effective copywriting, resulting in unclear messaging and reduced engagement.

Recommended migrating to Shopify, which supports integration with DOKU for seamless local payment processing.
Collaborated with the client to clarify and sharpen their business vision, shifting the website’s focus to promote the Surf Coaching Program and attract more serious, athletic surfers seeking to enhance their skills in Bali.
Designed and developed a new website on Shopify, moving away from WordPress to leverage Shopify’s robust features and business-friendly tools.
Prioritized user experience (UX) and crafted SEO-optimized copy to improve search engine visibility and attract the right audience.
